Barcode Director utilizes multiple internal variables, called Macros, to represent folder and file names and other values. These values can be used to name documents and reports or to assign them to named folders.
The dialog box shows the current macro values. Current, in this context, means those values defined to this point by the configuration process. Values that are instantiated only at run time obviously cannot be evaluated at this point. To better understand the potential application of these variables, click on the File/Folder Name Editor dialog, and view the Results field.
