A named portion of barcode value used in output documents' file and/or folder name. Rules for obtaining fields' values are defined on Barcode panel.

Placeholders in file and folder names specified in various UI screens. Macro name is enclosed in <> inside file/folder name. Replaces at runtime with actual values. For example <MyDocuments> macro is replaced by current user's MyDocuments folder path. Samples of macro values are displayed in Macros Dialog Box
A portion of a session that comprises identifying and processing new input file. Sessions initiated with Start button contain only one pass. Sessions initiated with Monitor button (or /um option form Command Line) contain multiple passes.
