Multiple Document ID barcodes Exception

The Document ID cannot be uniquely identified if two or more, otherwise valid barcodes with different values are present on a page.  

The most common reason for this exception is that spurious barcodes, that were not put there by your business process, happen to be present on some of the pages in the file, and the validation rules are not sufficiently specific to exclude them.

To avoid exception

• In the Barcode Panel use Barcode Validation based on barcode length or pattern match to select a more specific barcode.

• If two barcodes are in use, make sure that their Types and/or Validation allow them to be distinguished.

• Pick barcode types and lengths that are less common.  Avoid Code 39 and Code 128 with 5-10 characters, or use a prefix pattern
